International audition for opera/Lied singers 2013-2014

The most important goal of the audition is to assemble vocal talents and stimulate their quality by rewarding their distinction. The audition is organized by TEMPUS  in association with CANTUS Opera Studio and Atelier Kostya in Europe, which represents a vital element of the performing arts (music, theatre) of today and hopefully the future. The selected singers will have the opportunity to take part in our recording  productions. 

Audition repertoire:

The repertoire for each specific voice type includes 2 arias, 2 recitatives and two Schubert's Lieder. Detailed Repertoire and the date of each audition will be posted about two months before the audition on the TEMPUS web-site and mailed to candidates on simple request. Preliminary and / or final auditions could be held behind screen.

Auditions location:
Auditions will take place in Europe. New auditions are typically posted on our site and sent to our newsletter subscribers 4 to 8 weeks prior to their date.

- an university degree, or equivalent;
- all applicants must submit a recent recording as part of their admission application;
- Additionally, where, during the application process, concerns are raised about the proficiency of an applicant, the applicant may be required to submit to an interview prior to acceptance into the audition.

The final decision concerning the eligibility and acceptability of qualifications rests with our board of artistic directors.

There is no application fee. However, we will NOT provide any financial assistance during the entirely audition process.
